The rumors of AutoStart's death have been greatly exaggerated !

Submitted by René Post on Mon, 2007-09-24 08:35.

OK, I think you just heard Ryan leaving the building Smiling

AutoStart is not dead, I just did not release something new for a very long time.
Doesn't mean I did not work on it, just that nothing was released.
I'll be releasing something new before we hit the one year hiatus !

Greetings, René

Project Dead

Submitted by rmccue on Sat, 2007-09-22 07:46.

Just in case anybody is still reading these pages, I'd like to inform you of the following:

  1. PUSS is dead; Long live Toucan - PUSS has become Toucan and is now an official PortableApps.com Project
  2. Support will no longer be offered here - Use the PortableApps.com Forums instead
  3. This site will remain up until the 22nd of May, 2008 when the domain expires. We will not be renewing the registration

We've all had a fun time here, but it's time to move on. Adios, Amigos.

Hosting Plan Upgraded

Submitted by René Post on Sun, 2007-04-15 21:40.

The liberta-project.org site should be a bit more responsive under stress now, because we just upgraded the hosting plan. In doing that we doubled the amount of RAM available for the operating system.

PUSS 2.0 Update

Submitted by Steve Lamerton on Thu, 2007-01-04 17:17.

Update

Just to say that the release is delayed for another week as there are a couple of little bug that still need to be worked out, and to get some PR set up.

Even after a very hairy moment half an hour ago when my main PUSS 2.0 project file got corrupted, I would like to announce the release date for 2.0 as Monday 8th January 2007. As well as the program I should be uploading over 2500 words of documentation, frequently asked questions, tutorials and general site updates, so hope to see you Monday.

PUSS 2.0 Update

Well just a quick update, I have completed both the Secure and Backup sections and their respective command line interfaces. That only leaves Sync and some of the other new stuff. With regards to Sync I have just had an interface redesign and you are going to love it, it should be as good as any other Sync app out there! I have now set myself a release date and will push hard to make it although I can't yet confirm it so you'll just have to wait, oh I'd say three weeks at most!

Whats Happening?

Well, I haven't released anything 'big' in a while, so I thought that I would take you all on a little tour of what I am currently cooking up for the project.

A screenshot for you of the new Secure section of PUSS and the general visual update. Note that by the first Release Candidate the icons on the left will have been polished up. The icons are from the Dropline NEU! icon set.

AVE 1.11 Released

Submitted by Steve Lamerton on Tue, 2006-12-12 14:08.

I have just published AVE 1.11 which is identical to 1.1 except that it fully supports the Portable Applications Format making it easy to use with the Portable Apps Menu. If you already have 1.1 there isn't any reason to upgrade.
