AutoStart is not dead, I just did not release something new for a very long time.
Doesn't mean I did not work on it, just that nothing was released.
I'll be releasing something new before we hit the one year hiatus !

Liberta Autostart is my favourite launcher.
It's tiny, it works with "hacked" U3-drives and it supports
truecrypt-volumes. I would be sad to see it disappear..
